This page explains how to delete your account for RYDR, the indoor-cycling app from Infinity Technologies SA, and exactly what happens to your data when you do.
1) Delete it yourself, in the app
This is immediate and needs nobody's help:
Open RYDR and sign in.
Tap the gear icon in the top right to open Settings.
Under Account, tap Delete account.
Read the confirmation, then tap Delete permanently.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are returned to the sign-in screen. There is no waiting period and no confirmation email to wait for.
2) Or ask us, if you no longer have the app
Email privacy@rydr.gg from the address your account uses, and ask us to delete it. We reply to confirm once it is done. If you write from a different address we will ask you something only the account holder would know, because deleting the wrong rider's account on request would be worse than a slow answer.
3) What is deleted
Deletion removes the account and everything attached to it. Nothing here is kept, archived or anonymised for later use:
Your sign-in credential — the email address itself, so nothing can be sent to you.
Your profile: display name, profile picture, year of birth, weight and FTP.
Every ride and run you saved, including the power, cadence and heart-rate samples.
Every leaderboard entry and record you hold. Your claims disappear from other riders' feeds, and the standing passes to whoever is next.
Notification registrations for your devices, so they stop immediately.
Trainer calibration, saved worlds and per-game data.
Your Strava connection and its tokens, if you had connected one. Nothing is deleted inside Strava itself — your activities there are yours and stay where they are.
Analytics events recorded against your account.
4) What is kept, and for how long
Two things outlive the account, and neither can identify you as a rider:
Server logs — IP address, user agent, timestamps and errors — which we keep for up to 12 months to run and secure the service, then delete. We do not go back through them to reconstruct a deleted account.
Anything we are required to keep by law, for as long as the law requires it.
Backups are the one place a deleted account lingers. They roll forward on their own schedule, so deletion is completed everywhere, backups included, within 90 days.
5) Deleting some of your data, but keeping the account
There is no way to delete individual rides today — deletion is all or nothing. If there is something specific you want removed, write to privacy@rydr.gg and we will deal with it by hand.
Your other rights over your data — a copy of it, a correction, a complaint — are set out in the Privacy Policy at https://play.rydr.gg/privacy.
